Q. What happens during the triage appointment?


 

A. One of our experts will check your ears using video otoscopy and show you the results.

 

We're initially checking for things like occluding wax or an infection both of which can cause reduced hearing.

EARWAX REMOVAL

At Hearing Sound we use the industry recommended method for wax removal which is Microsuction, this is the safest and most effective method to remove problematic ear wax. The audiologist is fully trained in this procedure, there is no time limit on your appointment and if a follow up appointment is required you will not be charged.  Clinic appointments are subject to a £60 charge and home visit appointments are subject to a £90 charge.
